We are featuring  23 new offerings ( 13 diploid & 10 tetraploid).  We are
of course very pleased with all our new creations, especially the long
awaited SUSAN RUOFF, also our "Salute to King Records" series. We
are also introducing a cultivar from our friend Lea Ann Williams from
Lynnville, IN, her Englerth award winner; RAMA LAMA DING DONG.

Our RELAY FOR LIFE 2009 introduction proceeds were donated to the
local Relay for Life program benefiting cancer research.  We are proud to
announce that we were able to make a donation in the amount of $1,040.00.
We wish to thank all customers who ordered this plant and enabled us to
make this dream come true!

Perennially Valley of the Daylilies offers the most complete selection of
spider and unusual daylilies found anywhere and this year is no exception.
We offer as well an expanded Historic daylily listing of pre 1970
cultivars.  Also included is a general listing featuring many new and hard
to find varieties.  At Valley of the Daylilies we grow over 3,000 registered
daylily cultivars.

We encourage visitors during bloom season as we have not only the
commercial growing field but AHS Display Garden and will have several
thousand Bachman seedlings on their maiden bloom in 2010.  Our peak
bloom is generally early July and this year will coincide with the fourth
annual Southwestern Ohio Hybridizer Group of Northern Mecca Tour on
Friday, Saturday & Sunday, July 2, 3 & 4th.

This tour involves seven hybridizing gardens around the Dayton-Lebanon,
Ohio area (checknorthernmecca.com website for more info).  Additionally the
Valley of the Daylilies "open house" is tentatively scheduled for Friday,
July 2nd. thru Sunday, July 11th.  We are easy to find as we are 1 mile off
I-71 at Exit 32, 30 miles north of Cincinnati and 70 miles south of
Columbus.  See map on "contact us" page.

We are fully equipped for both garden clubs & bus tours.  Featuring picnic
shelter for meetings/luncheons.  We can arrange a short demonstration or
program for your group.  Contact us ASAP as we would like to include you
on our calendar.

Please peruse our addition to the website of our monthly "happenings"
newsletter.  This will give you the most up to date activities for Valley of the
Daylilies.

Good Gardening,

Dan & Jackie
