Gardening Friends,

Thanks for visiting our 2012 all new website. We have made it more user friendly this year. We are featuring a secure on-line ordering store with over 1,600 cultivars listed. We also accept orders the old fashioned way, by mail with a check.

We are proud to announce 17 new daylily introductions for 2012 (13 diploid and 4 tetraploid), including our long awaited DEBBIE MONBECK and our other 3 Junior Citation Winners, STRAIGHT NO CHASER, JUMPIN' AT THE WOODSIDE and DUANE NICKEL. Check them out at the store.

We are honored to receive an Honorable Mention Award from the AHS for 2011 for B.J. MCMILLEN. In addition JACKIE BACHMAN was runner-up for the Extra Large Daylily Award. Thanks to all those who grow our daylilies.

Perennially Valley of the Daylilies offers the most complete selection of Spider and Unusual form daylilies found anywhere and this year is no exception.  We offer as well an expanded Historic daylily listing of pre 1970 cultivars.  Also included is a general listing featuring many new and hard to find varieties?  At Valley of the Daylilies we grow over 4,000 registered daylily cultivars and may have that one hard to find one you have been searching for. We have a link to our complete inventory on the "Our Store" page. Give us a call or email to check availability.

We encourage visitors during bloom season as we have not only the commercial growing field but AHS Display Garden and will have several thousand Bachman seedlings on their maiden bloom in 2012.  Our peak bloom is generally early July. Our Tentative Annual Open House is scheduled for June 29 thru July 8. We are also gearing up for the AHS National Convention to be held just 1.25 hours north in Columbus, Ohio, July 11-14. While not being an Official Tour Garden, we will be open the week before and the week after for visiting. Also we are planning a cookout on Sunday, July 15 for any traveling home from the convention We are easy to find as we are 1 mile off I-71 at Exit 32, 30 miles north of Cincinnati and 70 miles south of Columbus.  See map on "About Us" page.

Also our selection of perennials at the nursery is expanding, including hosta, peonies, iris's, grasses and many others. We hope to host Mini-Open Houses as the perennial bloom seasons progress. Email to get on our mailing list for updates.

We are fully equipped for both garden clubs & bus tours.  Featuring a picnic shelter for meetings/luncheons.  We can arrange a short demonstration or program for your group.  Contact us ASAP as we would like to include you on our calendar.
